Sustainability reporting: present and future scenarios E-mail

Introduction and general objectives
Reporting is the collection of acts and processes with which the organization carries out its accountability duties, namely to justify to its stakeholders what has been done and what is being done in order to respect the commitments made to them. In recent years this phenomenon has escalated and become notably more widespread as much on a theoretical level as on an operative one.

For this reason FONDACA has decided to dedicate two days of seminars to the topic with the twofold objective of:
- analyzing the status quo of the phenomenon;
- exploring new reporting scenarios highlighting strengths and weaknesses.

Methodology
In order to facilitate the build-up of knowledge and an exchange of experiences by the participants, there will be alternate periods of theoretical analysis and listening to corporate accounts along with group work focused on the analysis of reporting practices.

Target group
The workshop is aimed at both professionals involved in the reporting process in public and private sectors as well as interested parties coming from non-profit organizations and civil society, public bodies and local administrations, schools, universities, and research bodies. How the topics are dealt with assumes a core knowledge about policies and reporting tools.

Course structure
The workshop will begin with a general introduction followed by four topic based sessions:

  • Future reporting scenarios I: supply-chain reporting
  • Future reporting scenarios II: the measurement of intangible assets
  • Future reporting scenarios III: integrated reporting
  • Future reporting scenarios IV: sustainability reporting through the Web
