On commission of the Representation of the European Commission in Italy, FONDACA conducted some researches aimed at investigating the relationship between the EU and civic organizations in Italy, and in particular those operating at the local level.
The survey on The role of civic organizations in the EU communication processes, carried out in 2006, aimed at collecting information on the existence, the implementation and effectiveness of the communication processes between the European institutions and citizens' organizations in Italy, with particular reference to the role played by the different organizations operating at the national level and directly involved in European policies, as well as to the local associations, affiliated or not national bodies.
