The Future of Sustainability Reporting in the Food Sector |

FONDACA in collaboration with Barilla Group is organizing the seminar "The Future of Sustainability Reporting in the Food Sector". The event will take place in Milan, via Palestro 2, on 8th October 2010, from 9.30 to 13.30. It will focus on the sustainability reporting practices in the food sector, present the new GRI "Food Processing Sector Supplement" and analyze the future perspectives comparing to different experiences. Business men, Institutional members and Professors will have a share in the roundtables. The participation is free of charge, it has to be confirmed. The program will be available in few days. |

The final seminar "Civic evaluation and Urban Quality: participatory analysis of the experimental project" will be held on July 5th in Rome. The seminar will involve the public administrations concerned in the project, the focus groups involved in the project and experts on the topic. The seminar will take place from 10 to 17 at Istituto Centrale per i Beni Sonori ed Audiovisivi, Michelangelo Caetani, 32 in Rome. |

The presentation of the book "Citizens in Europe. The role of citizenship in the European democratic experiment" written by Giovanni Moro will be held on 28th May at the Health Expo of Bologna's Fier. Main speakers will be Leonardo Altieri, Stefano Bonaga, Serse Soverini e Paolo Tamburini. Franco Malagrinò, by Cittadinanzattiva Emilia- Romagna, will moderate the discussion. "Through the Mirror, experimental course on active citizenship" |

The second phase of the training project on the introduction to the themes of active citizenship follows on from the success of the first module, which was held in February, this year. The course is based on the premise of questioning the most common and widespread interpretations of active citizenship and of employing coherent didactic instruments with a more general and comprehensive approach to the topic. During the second module, that will involve the same participants as the first and will be held on 3rd to 5th June 2010 in FONDACA's new headquarters in Via Machiavelli 25, there will be a focusing on further aspects of the phenomenon, creating the possibility to build a shared knowledge about active citizenship and allowing participants to help test and evaluate this training that can be used for future educational initiatives. |

Master in Corporate Citizenship |

FONDACA has just published the notice for admission 2010 to the Master in Corporate Citizenship. Integrated Strategies of Corporate Responsibility 6th edition, organized by FONDACA – Active Citizenship Foundation, with the support of the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies of Pisa and the Boston College - Winston Center for Leadership and Ethics. The Master is characterized by the centrality of "know how" in the field of CSR and also by the organization of a timetable which is favourable to people committed to full-time activities. The training course is devoted to individuals operating both in private sector and in public administrations and citizens' organizations, as well as to people engaged in research and counselling fields. The course will start on June, 15th 2010. Tenderers may submit request to participate not later than May, 22th 2010.

The presentation of the book "Citizens in Europe. Main speakers will be Fabrizio Barca, Rocco D'Ambrosio, Giacomo Marramao, Teresa Petrangolini, Clara Albani e Lucio Battistotti together with Giovanni Moro. The presentation will be carried out by the European Commission's Representation office in Italy, the EP Information Office (Italy) and FONDACA and it will take place at Europe Space, Via IV Novembre 149 (18 p.m.) in the framework of European Cultural Initiatives. |

The seminar "Corporate citizenship and global crisis: threats and opportunities in Europe and America", organized by FONDACA as part of the sixth edition of the Master in Corporate Citizenship. Integrated Strategies of Corporate Responsibility, will held on June 17th in Rome. The meeting offers an important opportunity for the analysis and in-depth examination of European and American scenarios of corporate citizenship. The discussion will be focused on how the global crisis effects corporate responsibility policies. Special guests at the event will be Sandra Waddock and Charles Derber from the Leadership for Change Program Winston Center for Leadership and Ethics of the Boston College.
