Sustainable Consumption Foundation was founded E-mail
Venerdì 13 Gennaio 2012 09:36
In September 2011, on former Secretary General Adiconsum Paolo Landi's own initiative, Sustainable Consumption Foundation was founded with the goal of promoting a culture of sustainable consumption, corporate social responsibility and international cooperation. Taking inspiration from the message of the encyclical letter of Pope Benedict XVI "Caritas in Veritate" (no.66), the Foundation intends to develop the creation of a "center", of a "network" (real and virtual at the same time) where the concepts of sustainability and responsibility linked with consumers (responsible consumption) can be developed, on the one hand, and with companies (CSR), on the other. Everything will be inside the European Union framework. The organization, based in Rome, is open to all those who are sensitive to these issues and have gained experience on consumerism or corporate social responsibility and want to make their contribution to the promotion of a culture of sustainability and responsibility.
