The City Administration of Genova and FONDACA, as scientific partner, carried out the conference "ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP AND LOCAL SAFETY POLICY" which has taken place on 11th March 2009 in Genova - Auditorium E. Montale - Teatro Carlo Felice - Piazza De Ferrari.
The focus of the conference was the role of citizens organized in committees, associations etc. in local safety policies promoted by public administrations, the forms of an effective involvement of them in safety policies and the problems raising from this relationship.
